Bar Code Left Offset
Barcodes using the printer resident barcode fonts cannot be printed less than 1.2 inches from the left edge of the paper.

Security Lock Override
The 7600 series have a Lock feature to provide security against inadvertent change to the printer setup. When the lock is enabled, a three digit passcode is entered. Without the passcode, the user will be unable to change any settings. The Reset selection does not reset the lock.

Paper Source Selection
The 7600 series use paper tray selection commands compatable with the HP LaserJet 4. but with slightly different parameters.

Manual Tray Selection
On many page printers, a single sheet inserted into the manual slot will have precedence over any other tray selection. The mL17 and 7612 have a built in MultiPurpose (MP)/ manual feed tray. By default, this tray is in the MP mode, and is considered to be a second paper tray selection, and not a manual feed selection.

7612 - Print Quality Issues
Print quality problems such as horizontal streaks or ghosting. The printer has been thoroughly cleaned. The problem may occur immediately after replacing the print cartridge, or there may be a time interval.

Paper in MP Tray Prints 2.5" or Blank
When printing from the MP tray, only the top 2.5 inches is printed. If the printing starts more than 2.5" from the leading edge, a blank page is ejected (typically seen with addresses on envelopes).
