Summary: The 7160 uses standard 72 pin memory SIMM's, but not all memory may be compatible. After installing memory, test it with the printer's built in memory check.
Memory Specifications: 72 pin, no parity, 70 nanoseconds. 1 MB, 2 MB, 4 MB, and 8 MB SIMMs may be installed. A total of four SIMMs may be installed for a maximum of 34 MB of RAM. Parity SIMMs may be installed, but the parity bit is not used. EDO SIMMs may be used, but there will be no speed advantage.
