3800 Series - Reset to Factory Defaults

MODELS: 3810S, 3810SP, 3840E, 3840EP, 3840EM, 3910IS,
3914, 3940E, 3940I, 3940IP, 3944
CAUTION: Resetting a printer to ISU (initial set up) will reset most options
to a factory default. This includes interface options, emulation options,
and straps. Any stored fonts, forms, or formats will be cleared. If possible,
print a status report of current options and formats before initializing the printer.
To ISU the printer:
Insure paper is loaded in the printer.
Turn off the printer power.
Press and hold the PARK and FONT keys.
Turn the printer power on.
Continue to hold the PARK and FONT keys *firmly* until the
FAULT light flashes.
NOTE: (If the paper moves, or the display cycles through the fonts, start over.)
Release the PARK and FONT keys.
Press the CLEAR key.
