PROBLEM: The printer exhibits any of the following paper feed problems:

- The paper is loaded into the tractor assembly. When the FF/LOAD key is pressed, the motor can be heard, but the paper does not feed.

- The paper was manually pushed up past the print head and into the upper feed rollers. When the paper is parked with the PARK/PATH key, the paper feeds up several pages and the display shows FAULT: CHK PAPER.

CAUSE: The printer is set to the MANUAL paper path.

SOLUTION:

- Manually remove the paper.

- Press the PARK/PATH key- the display will show PATH: MANUAL.

- Press the PARK/PATH key until the display shows the desired path.

- Load the paper into the tractor assembly.

- Press the FF/LOAD key to load the paper into the printer.
