"Check Paper" Error

Summary:
Printer stops printing with an error display of "Check Paper"



Resolution:
The "Check Paper" error is coming from the paper motion sensor on the tractors.
1. Make sure the paper motion sensor on the front and rear tractors are plugged into the connectors
2. Make sure the sensors are clean
3. If problem still continues, you may want to turn the paper motion sensors Off.
To do this, take the printer Off Line. Press the Menu Button
Use the UP Arrow button until the LCD displays "PRMENU"
Press the Enter button. The printer will print out the Main Menu
Press the "9" button twice, then press the Enter button. The printer will print the Hardware Config Menu
Press the "1" button then the Enter button. Printer will print "Select Hardware Options"
If selection 5 has a ">" symbol by Paper Motion Detector, press the 5 button then Enter button
Selection 5 should NOT have a ">" symbol
Press the Clear Button,(printer prints Main Menu) then the "1 button" then the "2" button
Press the CLEAR button, LCD will display "EXIT"
Press the Enter button and then put the printer ON LINE by pressing the On Line button
