Auto Carriage Return on Line Feed

Summary:
 The printer will print one line of data and then form feed to the next page.
The host is not sending a Carriage Return (CR).

Resolution:
 


To Set the printer for an Auto CR on LF, do the following:

1. Take the printer Off Line. Press the MENU button. The LCD will display "EXIT".

2. Press the UP ARROW button until the LCD displays "PR MENU". Press the MENU button.

3. The printer will print the Main Menu. Press the #2 button then the ENTER button.

4. Press the #1 button then the ENTER button.

5. Press the button that corresponds to the format you are using.
   Example: printer defaults to Format 4, press the #4 button to select Format 4.

6. Press the #1 button then the ENTER button.

7. Press the #4 button then the ENTER button.

8. Press the #6 button then the ENTER button. Item 6 should state: >Auto CR on LF.

9. Press the CLEAR button, then press the #1 button, then press the #2 button.

10. Press the CLEAR Button, the LCD displays "EXIT". Press the ENTER button to return to your Format.

11. Press the FORMAT button until your Format on displayed in the LCD again.
    Note: You must cycle through the formats at least once.

12. Press the ONLINE button to put the printer back On Line.
