Summary:
SYMPTOM: When upgrading a 44C502592-G03 motherboard to a 44C502592-G04 motherboard, the printer may malfunction.


Resolution:


CAUSE:  The printer's logic card cage has 7 card slots. The PWB location in
the new 44C502592-G04 motherboard is different than the 44C502592-G03
motherboard.

ACTION:  Use the following chart to identify the correct position slots for
new G04 PWB and exercise caution to ensure ALL PWB's are re-installed into
it's proper position.

Logic card cage configuration for 44C502592-G03 (old) motherboard:

   **** - SMIH - SMIM - SMSM - SMPI - **** - SMMC




Logic card cage configuration for 44C502592-G04 (new) motherboard:


     <--- printer front       printer rear --->

   SMIH - SMIS - SMSM - SPER - SMPI - SPS2 - SMMC
          	SMIM
  

NOTE: The new 4410 / 4440 XT + only uses 3 PWB's ... SMIS, SPER & SMMC.
