Resolution:

MODELS:  4410, 4440, 4410XT, 4440XT with SMPI parallel interface board.
- Replace the interface cable with 44C506014-G13.

- Check the SMPI revision:
	- The SMPI/2 and SMPI/4 are both CENTRONICS and DataProducts ShortLine parallel.
	- The SMPI/3 and SMPI/5 are DataProducts LongLine parallel only.

- If a SMPI/3 or SMPI/5 is installed, it must be replaced with a SMPI/2 [44C502591-G02]

- Change the SMPI jumpers from the DataProducts positions to the CENTRONICS positions.  
	Refer to the user's manual or the service manual.  It is recommended the J49/J50 
	be left in the J49 position.

- Set the printer emulation as desired.

MODELS: 4410XT+, 4440XT+ with SPER parallel interface board.

- Disconnect the DPLL board from the motherboard- remove if desired.

- Replace the interface cable with 44C506014-G13.

- Set the printer emulation as desired.
