Barcodes will Not Backup

Models: 4410, 4440

Summary:
When printing barcodes, the printer does not backup to the top of the barcode,
even though printer control strap A10 is set to 1 for backup on barcode.

Resolution:


CAUSE:  No data between the barcode terminator ( ESC [0t ) and the line 
terminator ( CR or LF ).

SOLUTION: Add a space after the barcode terminator. ( ESC [0t SP )

NOTE:  The 4470, 4490, and 4800/4900 series will backup on barcodes without the 
need for the extra space.
