The following functions are affected by the usage of Printer Strap A33:

Carriage Control

In ... Any vertical paper move will result in a carriage return.

Out .. Vertical moves do not effect horizontal position.


8th Bit Control

In ... The characters with the 8th bit set are taken from an alternate font
which could be anything (NLQ, Courier, Italics, OCR, etc.,).

Out .. Character codes with the 8th bit set must come from the same font
(style) as the characters with the 8th bit not set.  I.E., The 8th bit cannot
be used to shift between draft and NLQ.


Set Graphics Rendition (SGR) - [p1;p2;...m

In ... Parameter values 5 (doublewide) and 6 (proportional) may be used.

Out .. Doublewide is set by the [p1;p2 B command and proportional is
initiated by [p1;p2...h command (where parameter value = 1).


Spacing Increment (SPI) - [p1;p2 G

In ... Spacing values must match standard values or the sequence is ignored.

Out .. P1 may range from 1 to 15840 decipoints as long as it is less than or
equal to the printable area on the form. P2 is dependent on the font selected
but the acheived spacing, on the average, will acheive the requested spacing.


VFU Channel Command (GENVFU) - [p1!p

In ... Channel values are split into two parameters.  For example, to skip to
channel 1 you would send [0;1!p.

Out .. P1 values are 1-12.


Partial Line Up and Down (PLU & PLD) - K and L

In ... Successive PLU or PLD commands will not "walk" the paper up or down
the page.

Out .. They will.
