4000 Series VFU Command Does Not Work

Models: 4470, 4490, 4800 series

Summary:
PROBLEM: The VFU Skip to Channel command ESC [ p1 ; p2; ! p does not work.

CAUSE: There is an error in the manuals.

4470XT / 4490XT: GEK-88946 pg 5-32
4800 series: GEK-89025 pg 1-30


Resolution:


The VFU Skip to Channel command should be:

	ESC [ p1 ! p

where p1 is the channel.

NOTES:

-  The command in the 4470/4490 users's manual (GEK-88705) is correct on page 5-20.

-  The ESC [ p1 ; p2 ! p sequence is valid only if the printer is in 4000 
   compatibility mode.
