4470/4490 - DataProducts to CENTRONICS Parallel Conversion

Models: 4470 or 4490 with SMPI parallel interface board.

MODELS:  4470 or 4490 with SMPI parallel interface board.
- Replace the interface cable with 44C506014-G27.

- Check the SMPI revision:
	- The SMPI/4 is both CENTRONICS and DataProducts ShortLine parallel.
	- The SMPI/5 is DataProducts LongLine parallel only.

	- If a SMPI/5 is installed, it must be replaced with a SMPI/4 [44C502591-G04)

- Change the SMPI jumpers from the DataProducts positions to the CENTRONICS positions.
  Refer to the user's manual or the service manual.

- Set the printer emulation as desired.

MODELS:  4470XT or 4490XT with SPIO parallel interface board.
- Disconnect the DPLL board from the motherboard- remove if desired.

- Replace the interface cable with  44C506014-G27.

- Set the printer emulation as desired.
