SETUP PROCEDURES



4810 / 4840 REDUCED SLEW SETTING


  1. Take printer off-line.
  2. Press Program (Enter) key. Display -> "PRG:FONT".
  3. Press PREV OPTION (CPI-LPI) key until DIsplay -> "PRG:Engine Opts".
  4. Press PROGRAM (Enter) key.  Display -> "EOpt:SLEW Rate".
  5. Press PROGRAM (Enter) key.  Display -> "Slw: Normal".
  6. Press NEXT OPTION (On Line) key.  DIsplay -> "Slw: Reduced".
  7. Press PROGRAM (Enter) key.  Display will flash "Rate Selected;
     then display "Slw: Reduced".
  8. Press QUIT (Clr Test) key to return to offline mode.

     To reverse this setting, follow above procedure through
     Step 5.  Display -> "Slw: Reduced".
 6a. Press NEXT OPTION key.  Display -> "Slw:Normal".
 7a. Press PROGRAM key.  Display will flash "Rate Selected";
     then display "Slw: Normal".
 8a. Press QUIT (Clr Test) key to return to offline mode.
