SIMM to SIM Copy

The Intelliprint controller has two SIMM slots, and can copy the code from the SIMM in slot 1 to a SIMM in slot 2. This has some advantages over the flash method:

Note: The copy procedure works only for SIMMs of the same type. Refer to IP-18 for information on the different SIMMs.

Procedure:

Note: Any option Flash SIMM that normally runs in Flash SIMM slot 2 cannot be copied by this method. This includes the IPDS Font SIMM, the User Flash SIMM and any Bar Code or Font options.
