LOAD XXX

Summary: The printer display shows LOAD XXX (where xxx is a media source or size).

Details:

The selected media size is not available in the selected tray.

• The tray is empty.
• The wrong size media has been installed in the tray.
• The paper stops are not properly set. The blue-gray colored paper stops automatically set the media size.
• The media size requested by the application does not match the media in the printer.

The STATUS key or the printer web page can be used to determine the current media size in each tray.

Load Manual: The printer shows LOAD MANUAL XXX (where xxx is a media size); the START key must be pressed to print each page.

The Front Tray or MBF (the feeder) has been selected in Manual mode- this is usually not the user's intention.

• The media size for the Front Tray of MBF must be set form the printer control panel or printer web page.
• When selecting the tray in the application, set it to Autoselect or Multipurpose.

Note: Manual mode requires that the START key must be pressed to print each page.

Note: MS Word- Envelopes and Labels tool defaults to Manual. Set Options >> Printing Options >> Feed From = Automatically Select.
