Summary: Dual web forms consist of two different print media joined together to form a cut sheet product. Common applications consist of a pressure sensitive label integrated onto standard bond paper. Dual web forms are supported in most page printers if they comply with the following specifications:

Specifications:

• The media must be of a uniform thickness- enough for the stack of paper to lie flat in the paper tray. In most cases, if the label causes one end of the stack to be higher than the other end, paper handling is not assured.
• The liner on the back must cover the full page. Partial liners may cause paper jams and will cause output stacking problems as sucessive pages catch on the liner.
• The form must be equivalent in weight and rigidity to 20 lb bond paper.
• The liner on the label must be rigid enough to withstand the pick force on the printer.
• The form must be oriented so that the label end feeds first. Note that not all GENICOM models may support this feed method.

Notes:

• Due to mechanical variations and tolerances, one printer may print properly, but another printer of the same model may not. A printer may print properly for some time, then have feeding and printing problems. In both instances, the printer is on the edge of tolerance for the media, and the media is out of specification for the printer.
• TallyGenicom Technical Support may elect to perform inspection and/or limited print testing of specific media as desired.
