
Summary: In Windows Explorer, system files cannot be seen. These include filenames with the following extensions: .DLL, .SYS, .VXD, .386, .DRV.
Cause: By default, Explorer hides these system files.
Solution: To view system files:
Without Active Desktop:
With Active Desktop:
Note: By default, the three character file extensions
are hidden for file types that are registered in Windows 95. If is desired to view file extensions, enter the above
options, and unselect Hide MS-DOS File Extensions For File Types That Are Registered.
