Separator Pages

9 Jan 2001
Ed Palmer

Summary: Separator pages can be created to print in between print jobs. The separator can be customized with user information and can print graphics or pull from a selected tray.

Details: Custom separator pages are documented in Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 102712, How to Create Custom Separator Page Files. A good example is show in 131714, Custom PCL Separator File Example.

Information on the printer commands will also be required. PCL commands for the microLaser and LN series are found in TechNote IP-cmd-01. Commands for matrix printers can be found in the printer's user or programmer manual on the Tech Support site.

The F separator command can be used to include files such as graphics.
